Last night, that is Thursday night in Canberra, my lovely wife and I went to see Eddie Izzard perform here in Canberra.  I was a tad dubious to how his stage performance would be, but now today, I hurt.  My throat is sharp from the constant laughing, and though exhausted before going to the show, I was thoroughly entertained for the entire 2 hours he performed.

Eddie is doing his Stripped tour (click to see tour info), and it's brilliant.  I am not going to talk about the content, that should be a surprise, but it is bloody funny!  Rawr!

I have always liked Eddie, but his comedy is intelligent, without sinking to the gutteral level of tripe a lot of other comedians stoop down to, and as a result most of the people around also had a great night.  There were some that found his humour not so funny, including one person sitting next to my wife, and to them I say why did you go?  Never heard of Google or YouTube?

If you get a chance to go see it, do yourself a favour, and do so.  Though not a cheap night, it's a worthwhile one.

I made this thing to show the level of my sanity and rage, one thing you should never do is poke a bear.  You can feed a bear, hug a bear, but never POKE a bear.  This is your warning indicator.

More it's a test for a module I am working on, and once I know how to get it done fully it will have a back end to choose the image, and the settings easily.  At the moment it's a couple of modules in Joomla, and I activate or deactivate based on need.  Easy to do, but not as clean.  I want clean.

This is a markedly milestone day for me.  I have done the last bit of work for the job I am leaving, and am now a free agent for a little while, until I get another role of course.  I have 20 years of IT experience at all levels, and am willing to talk to almost anyone.  You can contact me if interested. 

What am I looking for?  Work in IT related fields, but out of technical areas, I have had enough of that.  I have done a load of TL work over the past 5 years, and want to do more.
